I just realized I missed some of your questions.
I believe One could earn SPT / PAL and STEEM all on the same post if we use all the proper tags. Anything posted on the SPT / PAL site is posted on Steemit. Using the PAL tag (might need to be the first tag but I'm not sure) will mean your post will earn PAL tokens if someone who has PAL staked upvotes your topic.
So for example if I create a post on Splintertalk and put Palnet as the first tag then that post will also show up on the Palnet site/Splintertalk and our regular Steem Blog giving us the opportunity to earn PAL coins/SPT and Steem/SBD.
I'm not sure if it needs to be the first tag. I've been using the palnet tag but not putting it first. I haven't used the SPT tag yet.
I'll probably wait until someone does a illustrative post of what they've been earning, before I change my behaviour. There are so many moving parts now. 😁
For SPT as far as I know it doesn't have to be the first tag but (unless it changed) I remember reading that Palnet requires a post to have their tag as the first one unless you are posting directly from the Palnet site.
Creating a post on the SPT site using the Palnet as the first tag will give you the potential to earn STEEM/SBD/PAL and SPT.
Ok. Thanks for the info @rentmoney. I'll change to putting palnet first.
That sounds good but unless SPT allows drafts I'll stick with Busy. I have a load of draft templates saved there with my footer etc.
