An Overlooked Benefit
One thing I haven't seen anybody mention is how fun it is to have huge numbers to play with.
Earning 3 PAL is way more satisfying than earning 0.6 STEEMor 0.24 USD.

Every time I see even a little PAL on the screen, I get excited! The community is also just so much more engaging and wonderful to meet and talk with.
