Srimongol: The City of Tea

Last week I was visiting a beautiful district of my country called Moulvibazar and I would like to share the first post anout the beautiful Srimongol , basically it is an Upazila a part of a District and it is renowned as the County of Tea!

Tea is a common beverage around the world and renowned for its beautiful aroma. People love it in several ways like raw tea commonly served with sugar.

It is way more beautiful than I thought and I just loved it and I can't explain how beautiful it is. I've decided to post some pictures and show the beauty of it, we seven people went there to visit the beautiful tea gardens and the places around the area.

Unfortunately we have reached there at very early morning 3:30 a.m. and we had nothing to do so you we were looking for a hotel then I found a open store where we could eat something!!!

After having our early-early breakfast ever (!) we just walked out and waiting to find a place to stay for couple of hours as our vehicle should come around 6:00 a.m.

I was looking around and surprised to found a jeep standing right beside us and thought it would be nice if we could start our journey now and very very fortunately a man was approaching to us and asking if we wanted to visit around! (Let's stop here as from here I'll continue another post!). We reached the garden within an hour driving and it was green and green everywhere.

So, we have been visiting so many places and found interesting parts of our country! basically all these places were just beautiful....stunning and mind blowing we were 7 people as I said and each of us was really really excited and enjoyed each and every moment from the beginning to the end! it was undoubtedly beautiful and it was absolutely wonderful to be there. We went to watch some tea Gardens but we ended with so many memories and it was like we were in the dreams and didn't want to just come back from it!

Not only the gardens but also the way in between made us forget to blink the eyes! Hopefully soon I will able to share a video of it!

Tea trees grow better in the hills steps not in the level ground I found! See these trees are not looks alive like below one (only my findings of short visits and I might be wrong).

These green leaves and beautiful hills around us provided fresh oxygen and made us younger I guess! No pollution no traffic only fresh air to breathe!

Thousands of people working in Tea Gardens for as best $10 per day and keeping the industry working for the country and for the world. World's 3% tea produces in Bangladesh and the country is the 10th largest Tea produces in the world which confirm employment for four million people (directly & indirectly) of Bangladesh. There are 166 registered Tea gardens in this country as per Reference
