Judge Michael Cicconetti believes in making punishment that fits the crime committed.

His creative punishment of crimes had resulted the repeat offense lower than the national average of other courts.

A good example of a creative punishment was when Victoria Bascom was given a choice of going to jail for 30 days or walk for 30 miles for her crime of not paying her cab fare.

The creative punishment had the teenager to walk for 30 miles that probably left a lasting memory to avoid repeated crime.

There were many other creative punishments that the judge gave.

His dedication to ensure the offenders would have a lasting effect for the crimes committed that resulted most of them not to repeat their mistakes.

He was really like a father who gave the right punishment to discipline his children that led to the right future behaviours.
