I get what you mean. For me the interest in fishing comes and goes. You kind of have to be in that zone to be fishing where you feel you have the time
I have family and friends big into fishing, I went with my brother in Law once, he has a spot he goes to which is an 8 hour hike to get to , I loved the hike and being out in the wild, but the 48 hours just fishing did nothing for me I ended up after about two hours saying oK that was fun I will go hiking. During the day and be back in the camps for the night :)
