Participating in SPUD after a long while - 1000 STEEM powered up!
It has been a while since I last participated in STEEM Power Up Day (SPUD in short). The main reason why I didn't power up in the past few months was because they were filled with uncertainties and unknowns.
The effect of EIP was not clear and doing a hardfork for any blockchain is always risky. However, all that are in the rear mirror now. The HF was successful, albeit a little bumpy. Even though the long-term effect of the EIP still remains to be seen, I can now sense a positive vibe overall. In addition, there also seem to be more manual curation. I have been observing and I noticed that I am getting votes from larger accounts that have never voted for me before.
Overall, I am now bullish about STEEM in the mid to long term and hence, I bought some from Binance and am now powering them up!
And with that, I am now a proud owner of over 6000 STEEM! My next target will be 10,000 STEEM with my long-term target to become an "Orca". I understand I need a little over 50,000 STEEM to achieve that. Still a long way to go, but it is one step at a time isn't it? :)

I would like to on my @gniksivart account this year, but will be happy if I am able to hit it before the end of the year next year. Especially when I'm hoping to create more value in some of these other tribes as well so maybe spreading my Steem accumulation down a little bit for accumulating more LEO and SportsTalk.
