It's Cute How They X-Ray Babies

At dialysis when you have a lung or bronchial issue of any sort with some cough they will ask you to have an x-ray like an x-ray examination can heal you.

X-ray is an important part of determining how the doctor can go about in treating you but as a dialysis patient you almost all the time need only dialysis to make you better again. It is because most of the time the water in the lungs is causing the problem and the only solution is dialysis.

How can that be? Dialysis is a process of cleaning the blood of water-soluble impurities and nutrients that the body needs as well but it also takes away extra water or fluids from the body because of the pumps or negative pressure or sucking pump action made by the dialysis machine.

Now if a patient's lung has fluids and it is making him/her get a trouble breathing/couching, the dialysis machine can be set to basically suck the juices out of the patient and thereby drying out extra water from the lungs which then makes the patient well again.

Nurses today here are terrified of adding extra water to get drawn out from the patient even though the patient is showing those signs and can just be corrected by taking extra water from the body.

There was a time that the nurses would not take out extra water from me with my dialysis even though I am complaining of difficulty in breathing and I am coughing too because of extra fluids in my lungs and body. I would then cheat and will tell them a heavier weight prior for my dialysis.

Then after dialysis viola! I can breathe easy again and my coughing "magically" gone. That is why maybe I am surviving now because I do not always follow the advice of my nurses, in fact they were the one who is learning from me because after I had consulted myself to an Endocrinologist so that my Parathyroid would get treated they began to tell the other patients to do the same, even asked on what I eat because of my nice hemoglobin levels.

I told them that I eat chicken liver everyday, it is true anyway because I do not want to waste the chicken liver ingredient in my stir-fried noodles breakfast. It is my source of protein and absorbable iron especially if I would take it with Vitamin C to make my guts absorb the iron more.
