Istanbul an update to the Ethereum block chain is now live!

Six total EIPs where in this update which are as follows

DDoS attack resilience EIP 1344
Interoperability with equihash-based proof-of-work POW such as zcash EIP152
Gas costs EIPs 1108, 2028 and 2200)

We will have to wait to see more of the aftermath of this however as the hard fork continues to roll out.

The last update back in September ended up breaking 680 smart contracts on Aragon. We will have to see if anything breaks this time. All the testing in the world is never the same as finally going live with something.
