Indonesia strongly condemns Israeli army offensive to mass demonstrations in Gaza

The Indonesian government, through the Foreign Ministry, expressed strong criticism of attacks by Israeli soldiers to Palestinians marching on the Gaza and Israeli borders.
Known, the attack resulted in dozens of Palestinians died and hundreds of injured.
"The government and the people of Indonesia expressed their deep sorrow and solidarity to the victims and their families as a result of the Israeli army attack," a press release from the Foreign Ministry said on Saturday (31/3/2018).

Indonesia asserted that the Government of Israel has a responsibility under international human rights and humanitarian law to protect civilians.

The Government of Indonesia urges immediate thorough investigation of the excessive use of force and for the results to be published in full.
"The impact of violence and cruelty by Israeli soldiers continues to pose a threat to peace efforts in Palestine and the Middle East region," he wrote.
