Sania Saeed is one of Pakistan’s most famous and renowned veteran actress and host. She is very talented and a critically acclaimed actress.
Education and Age of Sania
Sania was born in Karachi on the 28th of August in 1972 and is currently 45 years old. Sania did her matric from St Joseph's Convent High School, Karachi, her intermediate from PECHS College for Women and later her Honours from University of Karachi, in Clinical Psychology.
Career of Sania Saeed
Her father established a theater group called ‘Dastak’. Sania started her showbiz career with this theater group and would appear as a child actress in different Urdu plays of ‘Dastak’. She appeared on screen for the first time in 1989 in the street theater play ‘Aurat’ of PTV as a part of ‘Dastak’., which shot her to fame. She has acted in many other successful plays such as ‘Prem Kahani’ and ‘Main Adakara Banu Gi’. Sania has been part of many top rated TV serials of different channels including ‘Aahat’, ‘Kahaniyan’ and ‘Zaib-un-Nissa’ of PTV, ‘Zard Mausam’, ‘Sammi’ and ‘Sang-e-Mar Mar’ of Hum TV, ‘Aitraz’, ‘Lamha Lamha Zindagi’ and ‘Darmiyaan’ of ARY Digital, ‘Mor Mahal’, ‘Main Manto’ and ‘Numm’ of Geo TV, ‘Hum Pe Jo Guzarti Hai’ of Express Entertainment, ‘Bubu Ki Beti’ of A Plus Entertainment and many more. Her hudband, Shahid Shafaat, directed the TV serial ‘Tau Dil Ka Kia Hua’ of Hum TV in which she also starred.

Sania Saeed has earned huge success in Lollywood as well. She has done a few hit films including ‘Manto’ and ‘Aashiq’. She has acted in some telefilms like ‘Intekhab’ of Geo TV, ‘Putlighar’ of Hum TV, ‘Saatwaan Aasman’ of ARY Digital and ‘Koshish’ of PTV. She acted in a homosexual character in the episode ‘Chewing Gum’ of ‘Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain’ with Farah Shah which is said to be the best episode shot of the show. She has won many awards as an actress such as ‘Best actress TV’ at the 2nd Lux Style Awards for ‘Shayad Key Phir Bahar Aaye’ of PTV, ‘Best TV Actress Terrestrial’ for ‘Hawa Rait Aur Aangan’ of PTV, ‘Best TV Actress Satellite’ by Lux Style Awards for ‘Jhumka Jaan’ and ‘The Ghost’ of Hum TV, ‘Best Actress Outsource’ at 16th PTV Awards for ‘Kalmoohi’ and ‘Best Actress’ at 2nd Hum Awards for ‘Aseerzadi’ of Hum TV. Sania has also hosted a few talk shows including ‘Ariel Maa’ and ‘Sehar Honay Ko Hai’ of PTV and ‘Hawa Ke Namm’ of Geo TV, each of which was a success.
Sania Saeed's Family
Sania was born in Karachi. Her father Mansoor Saeed was a political activist and translated books, documentaries and theatre plays in Urdu and his best works include the translations of Carl Sagan's Cosmos, Jacob Bronowski's Ascent of Man and Bertolt Breckht's life of Galilio, etc. Sania's mother, Abida Saeed is an educationist and established the Seedling Montessori School in 1983 and it is still running. She is married to Shahid Shafaat, who worked with Sania for many years in ‘Dastak’ group.[ads1]
