My acrylic painting “Sunrise” and Runrig - In Scandinavia -
Hello dear Steemians,
I would like to thank everyone who kindly left wonderful comments to my last acrylic painting.
You probably noticed that it was a lot of blue color therefore, unfortunately my blue color tube was almost empty, I don’t like to leave such tube for longer time because they just dry up so I decided to do another painting.
My painting this time supposed to show early morning at seaside, very often here in Scotland we have a fog so it is grey and light blue. That fits very well to my colors that I have: I still have enough of white and black, a little bit red and blue, I decided to do light blue sky with some sun rays.
I love painting with palette knife when I paint with acrylic color, because they dry up very quickly, therefore, impressionism and impasto style in my opinion is the best for acrylic and palette knife.

Thank you, I think this is the best way when one is using acrylic colors, also in my opinion it best to combine with impasto. I am glad you like this style @nehab

Beautiful... what is the size of this picture?
Thank you the Size is A3 format, because it was just my fifth work with acrylic, I decided to start with smaller format
This is so beautiful. I love the textures created by the knife. The colours work so well together. I did think of forgotten ships and mysterious islands when I first saw it. It really invokes the ocean. Great job!
