Because I had pulled such a grumpy face on the previous self-portrait I decided to now do one with a big self-satisfied grin.
I bought the shirt for a Tiki-party we had in the bar where I work and it struck me as unusual to find a black Hawaii-shirt.
That same day Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was shot down over Ukraine. I later found out that the Island-maps on the shirt are actually in the area of the flights destination.
