"The fear of the other"_________oil and colored earths on canvas

"The fear of the other" title of the work .... it is the fear of the other by itself. The horse in the foreground, white and pure, has its double represented by its reflection ... a reflection that runs, as if the animal carries behind another self, who jostles, writhes, trying to free himself. The brown but welcoming nature becomes theater, a place of representations, where everything becomes something else, where every reality is possible. Thus the tangle of branches at the bottom becomes the scenic arch, the trees on the left a colonnade that acts as a side corridor to the audience. A double plan of interpretation where the environment detects its duality.

“La paura dell’altro” titolo dell’opera…. è la paura dell’altro da se. Il cavallo in primo piano, bianco e puro, ha il suo doppio rappresentato dal suo riflesso…un riflesso che corre, come se l’animale portasse dietro un altro Se stesso, che scalpita, si dimena, cercando di liberarsi. La natura bruna ma accogliente diventa teatro, luogo di rappresentazioni, dove ogni cosa diventa altro, dove ogni realtà è possibile. Così il groviglio di rami in fondo diventa l’arco scenico, gli alberi a sinistra un colonnato che fa da corridoio laterale alla platea. Un doppio piano di interpretazione dove l’ambiente rileva la sua dualità.
