Whales Would Die Without Plankton!
Never mind whales, baby whales or even minnows, none of them would exist without Plankton.
(In fact without Plankton there would be no life at all on this planet)
I am definitely a Plankton organism in the Steemit food chain, along with around currently 50,000? others .
According to Wikipedia:
Plankton are a diverse group of organisms that live in the water column of large bodies of water and that cannot swim against the current. They provide a crucial source of food to many large aquatic organisms, such as fish and whales.
So if we Plankton organisms can't swim against the current, how may we thrive and prosper?
A few kind souls on steemit are showcasing new authors and bringing their posts to light.
Thank you guys for being so selfless. However, because so many thousands of posts are still not seeing the light of day, another solution is most definitely required.
Steem power is obviously king, and so it should be. (I just bought some steem power.)
That's when I had this idea: How about paid post listings? I make a post and pay to have it seen. How could this work? Perhaps we could have pages of say 100 paid posts X 2 4 6 10, whatever it takes. Then curators could be paid X amount to either upvote or downvote as the case may be. The rest of the money could be split between the author and say a nominated charity? It's a shame that there are so many unseen works of art on this fantastic platform.
What do you think?
Here...I'll give you a few cents. I like your plankton guy :-)
Why thank you kind garden lady!
phyto or zoo?? aaargh isn't that advertising of a different stripe? I ran from FB for this reason. Although as Ogilvy has been heard to say...
The codfish lays ten thousand eggs,
The homely hen lays one.
The codfish never cackles
To tell you what she’s done—
And so we scorn the codfish
While the humble hen we prize.
It only goes to show you
That it pays to advertise!
So you might be on to something (or perhaps you're just here for the Krabby Patty Secret Formula) Cheers
