Lord of the battlefields
And the courage and strength of the soldier
Bring us the courage and spirit of Olympus

O to you, blessed light of heaven
Apollo, son of Zeus
Lord of the oracle of Delphi
And healer of humanity’s ills
Bring us the rhythm and melody of your divine lyre

O to you, blessed god of the vine and the grape
Dionysus, son of Zeus
Lord of truths told from the bottom of a bottle
And the revelations of the open heart
Bring us the truth and subtle joys of the Earth

O to you, great and powerful lord
Zeus, father of gods and men
Lord of the raging rains of the thunderstorm
And the boom of the glorious thunder
