OzoneChain - The world's first quantum-resistant blockchain with integrated technology

Introduction

The development of quantum computers has put the widely used symmetric and asymmetric key cryptography techniques, which are utilized by all of the current blockchains, in danger. Due to their intrinsic quantum characteristics, such as superposition and entanglement, as well as quantum algorithms that take advantage of those characteristics and speed up the cryptanalytic computation, quantum computers are capable of breaking several types of conventional cryptography.

This inspired Ozone to research and create blockchain-based quantum security solutions like post-quantum cryptography and quantum random numbers. Ozone chain can be implemented on the current network infrastructure and is immune to both quantum and classical attacks.

The Threat of Quantum Computing to Blockchain

A significant clash between quantum computing and blockchain technology is imminent. Blockchain technology and quantum computing both depend on cryptography. It is projected that if quantum computers are widely used and made commercially available, the blockchain systems we use now will be out of date.

Cyber attacks can target the data on the internet that is kept on servers and databases and protected by current security measures. As quantum computers gather momentum, this threat becomes urgent. The Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) algorithm and Elliptic-Curve Cryptography (ECC) are used in the current structure of information exchange on the internet. Information communicated over the internet is encrypted and decrypted using these techniques. These algorithms are a subset of public-key cryptography or asymmetric cryptography, and they are used to create key pairs based on one-way functions, a family of mathematical puzzles.

Features Built on the Blockchain

The most secure blockchain that is EVM compatible and runs on proof of authority and IBFT protocol.

  • Quantum Random Numbers from a laser source
  • Lattice-based Post Quantum Cryptography
  • Quantum tech tested and certified by TUV
  • EVM compatible
  • Proof of Authority & QBFT
  • Block time - 5 seconds
  • Deploy Smart Contracts and Create Dapps
  • Governance by voting

Quantum Tunnels

A conventional blockchain consists of a distributed network of nodes running software that can verify blocks and transactions. The nodes communicate with each other over the internet or a private network, using widely known protocols like Internet Protocol (IP) for the network layer, and Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) or User Datagram Protocol (UDP) for the transport layer.

The data transmitted through these channels are vulnerable to eavesdropping, interception and tamper. The IP, TCP and UDP protocols had been extensively studied over the decades and various vulnerabilities have been found, which are listed below.

  • Internet Protocol (IP): IP fragmentation attack, IP reassembly attack, UDP and ICMP fragmentation attack, TCP fragmentation attack or Teardrop attack.

  • Transmission Control Protocol (TCP): SYN flooding, TCP reset attack, TCP session hijacking, TCP reflection attack.

  • User Datagram Protocol (UDP): UDP flood DDos attack, UDP-based amplification attacks

These protocols insecure in themselves, wrap themselves around SSL or HTTPS to provide a veneer of security which can be broken by conventional cyberattacks as well as quantum computers.

Tokenomics

The OZO utility tokens serves as a central unit of staking and exchange. These tokens are used for governance, staking and other network utilities.

OZO maximum and total supply is 1 billion.

Funding

Staking

We are committed to providing the best staking returns to all our users, but we are equally concerned about inflation and want to generate scarcity. The model of dis-inflation is proposed to implement this task and staking reward will decrease with time.

The staking reward would be at 12% for the first year, and after that it will decrease based on the governance system.

Conclusion

OzoneChain represents a significant milestone in the evolution of blockchain technology. As the world's first quantum-resistant blockchain with integrated technology, it offers enhanced security, scalability, and functionality. By utilizing advanced cryptographic algorithms and incorporating features like smart contracts and interoperability, OzoneChain is paving the way for a new era of blockchain applications. With its robust technology and commitment to innovation, OzoneChain is poised to shape the future of decentralized systems and revolutionize industries across the globe.
