Major XRP Transactions Observed on Crypto Tracking Platform
The cryptocurrency market is booming and big companies like to buy and invest in new projects.
This week, Ripple announced it had acquired a majority stake in Coil, a company that offers blockchain-based payment options to financial institutions. Reportedly, the deal could be worth as much as $50 million.
Meanwhile, BNB Global, which consists of Circle Internet Financial, Coinbase and Ripple, recently announced that it will work with eToro to offer cryptocurrency trading on its platform. The currency offered through this partnership is XRP (XRP), which currently ranks among the top three cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
The move comes at a time when the Bitcoin price is struggling to recover from the plunge earlier this year. At the time of writing, the major digital coin is trading at just over $3,200 per unit, down more than 30% from its December 2017 peak.
