Overwatch Contenders: IMMORTALS

Blizzard announced its first Overwatch tournament a couple months ago, Overwatch Contenders. It has a $50,000 prize pool for each region, NA and European.

Starting at the end of May with the open qualifiers, this allowed any team out there to sign up and have a chance to play against the best Overwatch teams in the world. The top 16 teams would be advancing to the group stages with 4 groups of 4.

Immortals had no problem winning its way though the open qualifiers making it into the group stage as the #1 seed in their group, group C. Immortals put up a great fight playing each team in their group only dropping 4 maps to finish top of group C with a 16-4 record.

The top two teams of each group would move on to the playoffs. Playoffs start July 2nd.
