Retail Store Overstock Will Begin Accepting Cryptocurrencies For Online Payments
Overstock, the online retail store, had signed a partnership with the blockchain startup "ShapeShift", which will now allow the online retailers to accept more than 60 different cryptocurrencies as payments.
Overstock.com shoppers may now use ether, litecoin, dash and bitcoin cash at checkout. Interestingly, Overstock first began accepting bitcoin for payment in 2014. The store has remained a proponent in cryptocurrencies by remaining active in developing the technology, even launching a dedicated subsidiary to focus on applications.
