How Many People Can Live on Planet Earth?

in #overpopulation7 years ago (edited)

This BBC documentary, hosted by acclaimed naturist Sir David Attenborough talks about the difficult subject of how to cope with over-population on planet earth.

"Over a billion people do not have access to clean drinking water, food shortages are rampant, and an international energy crisis continues to plague us. With an estimated 80 million new births each year - many taking place in regions already suffering from severely depleted resources - the world is facing a calamitous destiny that will leave no one untouched."

A big part of the blame is medicine according to this documentary.

So besides too many people we are destroying the resources that sustain us...how long can this go on I wonder?
