I don't know about taking a cat, but I have taken my dog...

And as @papa-pepper would say, "here’s the proof"...

Lol! Great picture!

Like I mentioned to @countryinspired, this is primo material for the #steemitstoryslam. Could earn you some Steem, too. Hint, hint, hint.... (rules here)

Dogs, cats, kids... they are all good camping company!

Sounds like there's a story or two in there somewhere...

(Just fyi, this is primo material for the #steemitstoryslam. Could earn you some Steem, too. Hint, hint, hint....)

They puncture self-inflating mattresses.

Yes they do, indeed! I have experienced that.

bra inläg thanks

We took our cat on vacation to the Everglades Back Country. Everything went fine until we took a shortcut in the Atlantic to avoid (canoe traveling 3 miles per hour) hugging the coast. OK it scared me too when the waves were tossing us around as if we were in a National Geographic documentary. Needless to say the cat crawled underneath the tarp and pissed/crapped all over our gear. The cat's catitude went into instant ugly coping skills and he'd have no part staying on our side of the chickee when we finally got inland. Even when the park rangers came around to clean the toilets they couldn't believe our story.

I can't even imagine getting our cats into a canoe! At least it didn't jump out and drown.

This cat loved the water. We use to pull it behind the canoe on a float on the river. The most laid back cat I've ever seen. When he was a kitten we took him everywhere, so, it loved traveling in the car, canoe and walks.
