Otaku Coin ICO planned for Spring of 2018
According to a poll on Coindesk, Japan lead the way with 40% of the bitcoin volume transaction as from Q2 of 2017
This is off the heels of the Japanese government giving it the sign of approval of cryptocurrency as a viable business. Before this, the image of Bitcoin was tarnished due to many scandals and fraudulent activities that surrounded the coin.
Those days are no over and the Bitcoin craze resembles the Dotcom boom in the early 2000's and 2018 seems to be shaping out to be a very good year for cryptocurrency. Bitcoin hype has gone mainstream as these coins look to move from the early adoption stage to the early majority.
What this means is that your tech savvy friends will start talking about the impact of bitcoin and the discussion about what the next 50x coin will be, can happen during lunch. #waitforit
2018 will be...
2018 we'll see Wallstreet money come in and create a sht storm of volatility, good or bad, we'll wait and see, 2018 we'll see a mammoth amount of ICO, since this is not regulated market and many pump and dumps are gonna make headlines.
2018 we'll possibly see a sht ton of defunct companies as these companies failed to execute their roadmap.
2018 we'll see a bunch of sh*t coins that go ICO and raise millions of dollars
Speaking of sh*t coins, In Japan, on December 27, 2017 at the Tokyo Otaku Mode conference it was announced that Otaku Coins will attempt to go ICO around the spring of 2018.
These coins can be used to purchase Anime, Manga, and games. It seems that the objective of this coins is to tailor to the Otaku Market.
Otaku:
A person who is obsessed with computers or particular aspects of popular culture to the detriment of their social skills.Otaku influencers like Maki Taro have stepped in as an advisor role to work towards this ICO, in an attempt to further strengthen the Otaku movement and discussion and support of an ICO with Anypay ihas commenced.
Otaku Coin Concepts:
- Rewarding bloggers and creators who contribute to Otaku Culture will earn coins.
- VR implementation where Otakus can join and reach for Otaku coins in the air....
- These coins in turn can be used to purchase exclusive Otaku goods.
2018 will be a free for all ICO bonanza and to all investor, brace yourself for a volatile ride and don't get too caught up in the hype. Good luck
This doesn't help the Japanese otaku problem at all. It just means more money can be made off them.
Shhhh Aren't we part of the problem lol?
I honestly think that most of these coins lack a purpose. I mean what is it that you can't do with already existing crypto currencies (and for that matter normal currencies) that you can do with this otaku coin?
This is web 3.0, and Otaku's have a lot of money saved up. If these coins are structured to have some sort of exclusivity attached to it, it just might work cause these guys will pay a boat load for shiny things. Monacoin is a good example on how effective useless coins can still drive demand purely based on image.
That being said, I still consider it a sh*t coin
