Origami Waterbomb with Participation Prizes
This is a really fun and simple traditional model. You make a box in which you plow air like a balloon.
Diagonals and halves(helps to do one of the halves in the on the other side)
Waterbomb base
Fold the corners up
Top corners to the sides
Toward the middle now
Moving the middle corner out of the way(up) fold the left and right corners to the middle
Now you have to insert the little triangles inside(left side half in, right fully) you might have to open it up slightly for it to fit
Repeat everything on the other side
hold the model like this, spreading the gap a bit and blow(don't hold to tightly)
Here's a nice detailed video if you're stuck on any step
And finished :D
On another note, working hard on the new papercraft, Paranthropus boisei knmer 406, I got the 3d image of the skull here and designed the model using pepakura and blender. I didn't want to remove too many features but kind of regret it now, I don't think I'm halfway done.
Anyone who makes the waterbomb gets 0.1sbd, hf and gl :D
I'll send 0.5SBD to the first 2 Steemians who participate and make the origami :) (minimum rank 30)
Thank you very much for the 0.5 SBD 'Awesome Origami Prize ^^', @kristyglas, 😊
Thank you @kristyglas! 😍
Thank you guys for participating! ^-^
Hello @ivan-g and @kristyglas
Thank you so much for putting up this instruction... I hadn't made one of these for ages... I made two attempts... The first one was very tricky as the paper was too small :
I'm very happy with the second attempt though :
Thank you again
That second one looks great :D it gets really tricky to shove the flaps in with small paper.
Thank you very much for the 0.1 SBD @ivan-g 😊
Este es mi mi pieza
y espero te des un paseo por mi publicación https://steemit.com/origami/@capui/un-elefante-de-papel
I haven't made one of these since primary. This was nice and brought back good memories. It also would make a lovely lantern given the way the light shone through the back when I was trying to take a photo.
Liiks good, maybe if you msde it with tracing paper or very thin. Could look nice but youd have to make the gap wider and open it by hand :)
This is so fun! TQ @ivan-g and @kristyglas!
Looks really nice, love the paper ^^
Thank you! 😍
