Organizing your day to day affairs is a golden key that leads you to a successful life. Being organized is one of the most important and influential strategies to get through academic careers. As a student, I am aware that the ultimate goal of education from pre-school to high school is to prepare the students for the real world. Reinforcing, the significance of being organized help students experience success throughout their lives. Organization is not a trait you inherit. It is something you learn. I myself am influenced and motivated by my parents and teachers. The habit of being organized develops ease and relaxation in your daily routine especially in school life.

Firstly, being organized helps you to be more focused on what you want to achieve in a productive manner. It assists you to manage your time effectively and do your work efficiently. Being organized as a student will bring more balance to your life with a positive attitude. In this way you can achieve more energy and enthusiasm. Through this you are able to prioritize your tasks and achieve your goals in an efficient manner. So in short, being an organized student not only saves your precious time and energy, but also helps you to attain punctuality in life that will lead towards a bold and bright future ahead. In addition, it also elevates your style, improves your grades at school and reduces your stress.

On the other hand, I understand that not everyone is a neat freak. There are however some downsides for students who tend to have trouble in organizing themselves. Although disorganized students can get away with it at school but there is a probability for their struggles to have a profound negative impact on their future.

Though I’m not one of them, advocates of disorganization thrive on it. The truth is that even the most organized among us have lapses in organization. Some students feel relaxed and enjoy doing their work in a disorganized manner. Some think that organizing things is wastage of your time and somehow it’s true as well. There is so much freedom in disorganization. You have so much extra time for more creative activities when you don’t spend precious time in organizing your things. Certainly you are more motivated to find things at the time you really need them; so the hunt may not be as distasteful as the initial sorting and filing may have been.

At work, creative people seem to be able to make order of chaos, to pull together all of the disparate concepts they’re exposed to into one meaningful, central idea. Their ability to synthesize from many inputs may mean they’re simply not disturbed by disorganized surroundings. Usually, disorganized people take more risks. Taking risks involves mistakes, plenty of them, and as a learning process, risk-taking is often exhorted. Stepping out of the organized mold into messiness can invite curiosity, trial-and-error, mistakes, failures, and ultimately, perhaps, successes.
It is also true that being physically organized does not necessarily equate with high academic achievement. While many highly organized students are more likely to achieve academic success, it does not always mean that students who appear visibly disorganized are not also successful students.

Though, in my personal opinion, organizational skills generally are an important goal, the real goals here are preparedness and productivity. The discipline and energy a person intentionally employs to maintain a state of chaos is a much harder and harsher discipline and energy than the discipline and energy required to live in a managed state. By eliminating your chaos you will be far more organized and personally productive; you will have more effective follow-up and follow-through; you will make fewer mistakes and omissions; you will experience a remarkable increase in your imagination and creativity; and best of all...you will have more time to spend enjoying your life!

Summing it all up, I would say that it’s obvious that organized students will be more capable of initiating their dreams and goals in future. In order to achieve your future goals and to have a successful life, you need to organize things that help you reach the desired destinations.

Sending out positive vibes your way,

Khadija
