Christ Lag In Todesbanden by JS Bach
I am currently working on studying all the chorales in Orgelbüchlein, which is a beginners book to organ written by Bach. Im not sure i agree with a beginners manual, but this project has benefitted me in so many ways. One way is through registration. I feel i lack a good ability to hear how good sounds work. Part of it is time and part of it is experience. But, with this project i am beginning to look at text, compositional structure and purpose of the piece in order to determine the best type of stops to combine. Enjoy this chorale, i certainly do 😊
