“Organic” does not mean “Healthier”

ORGANIC is just a marketing term, it really does not mean anything. It just means you do things like they did 50–100 years ago, use specific poisons and specific fertilizers, then you can buy an organic stamp. ALL food is organic. Store food is not synthetic, it isn’t made from plastic and iron, all living things and dead things are organic. You are just asking about food that is stamped organic.

The science is in. There have been done countless studies, actual testing, twin testing and more. But just looking and studying the ingredients should have been enough. The food that is stamped organic has less vitamins, less minerals, is smaller, tastes less, takes up a lot more land to grow, is more expensive to make and costs a lot more in the store. There is absolutely zero benefit of organic marked foods. You can hear endless amount of stories about someones uncles friend that heard someone say they feel better. It doesn’t mean anything. Marketing has effects, you might feel less guilty as that is what “organic” marketing is all about.

“Organic” food is not at all healthier, it uses a lot more poisons to kill insects, even copper and other metals which are not good for the soil.

The organic industry is just that, it is an industry, and it is a huge one. If you don’t like “big companies”, you would be amazed at how just a few companies actually own all the organic shops and farms even, sometimes these are the same companies that you say you hate. This is just a business, and a damn good one. You have people demanding to pay more for the same or less quality food.

It also might burst a lot of bubbles when people actually find out that the expensive water they buy in the store, with a fancy name, sounding like mountains and far away places, is just communal water, the exact same water you get in your tap in your own kitchen, and it says so on the bottle. Just like with organic food, which looses out in over 9 out of 10 blind taste tests, people pretend they are drinking different waters when they are drinking the same water during blind tests. This is why personal anecdotes don’t mean a thing.
