Why Aspekti And Oracle-D Start From Education To Develop Blockchain Technology?
Some might think that we have to start from infrastructure to build this world, some others said that it is about economics that should be prioritize. But, if we learn from history, we could see that actually it human that suppose to be prioritized. Education is very important, we can not develop anything if we do not have a good quality of human resources. Especially in the future when we have high technology that could do a lot of things more efficient and precise compare to human, if we do not prepare ourselves from today than it will be very more difficult to have the future. Blockchain technology that already starts to change this world, will play an important role in the future. If we do not educate ourselves to understand about this technology starts from today, than we will be left behind.
Blockchain technology is developing and none of us could actually really sure how far this technology could grow and develop. What we can do is to non-stop learning, from what happened before, do what we can do the best for today, and prepare ourselves for tomorrow. If we thought that steem is a place to get instant money, then today we should already realize that that is totally wrong. The price of steem will never go up if we can not bring added value to the steem blockchain, and by abusing this platform because of our greediness is not helping this technology to grow and develop. We also learn that a lot of coins are scams and a lot of good ICO programs are having problems because they can't collect enough fund to finance their projects. Too many people take an advantage from mining, airdrops, and bounty programs. The coins that supposed to be distributed and hold for a long period of time are sold to get just a little amount of money by irresponsible users, and this is not helping over whole blockchain technology at all. Hence, we need to educate people about blockchain technology, we can not expect that all could understand about it instantly, it will take times. Blockchain technology is about changing our mindset, and for sure, it is not easy at all.
I am not the only one who realize about this problems. When I talked to others during the South East Asia Blockchain Summit 2018 in Jakarta, as well as when I talked to a lot of people for the past few months, all concern about this problems and all agree that education is very important. Even people who already use blockchain technology, invest, and do trading, most of them do not fully understand. We can learn from experience, what happened to China when they refuse this technology or to other countries who published their coins with hopes that they can solve their economic problems. This is not just a technology, to understand about blockchain, we need to learn more about economics, finance, business, and management. Furthermore, this technology is using math, the algorythym, not only just codes that normally used in IT. Hence, we have to be careful about it, and never assume that we know everything about this technology even though we are very good in IT.
Another thing that we also have to understand, especially for all who already join blockchain technology community, we can't do everything by ourselves. This technology needs all of us to sit together to educate more people. We all are trying to develop this technology to reach a better future, hence, it is important as well to think how to work it out togetner. There are still a lot of problems and obstacles that we should face together, and being together, I think, is the best thing to do at the moment. None of us knows everything, we need to share what we have and complete each other to develop this blockchain technology. We can't be that ego or greedy to survive in the future with blockchain technology. We need keep ethics, norms, and ethic which might be forgotten before, we need to understand that we could only have freedom if we are consistence with our obligations. We need to be human, not just mammals who try to survive, we need to have our legacy to make sure that the future is much better than today.

This might be too philosophical, but these are the reasons why I want to start from education to develop blockchain technology in the world, particularly in Indonesia. I am glad that chairman of @aspekti, Matt (@starkerz) and Dyland (@anarcotech) from @oracle-d also think the same as I do. We concern very much about how to make people understand about this blockchain technology. None could bring any values or develop themselves with blockchain technology if they do not understand or reluctant to understand. Though we also understand that not all of the citizen of this world are willing to learn, or even care about this, but sooner or later the future will come, and let's see, hopefully there is no regret. Every choice has its own risk, it is about how we are ready to accept and responsible for those risk we already take.
Anyway, the MOU already signed between @aspekti and @oracle-d. We are going to built Indonesian Blockchain Technology Institute together, and in the meantime, we will provide a lot of training, workshops, and events to educate more people about this technology. And together with other blockchain expertise all over the world, we are going to work together to also provides a lot of useful information, to encourage more people to implement this technology properly.

Education is what drives the world today. I am so pleased knowing that there is room in Indonesia for educating people about blockchain. A lot of human resources will be so needed for the success of this institute. In that case, I believe that a lot of expert will be brought to aid in educating people about the blockchain.
