Imagination, Willpower and Intellect. I feel these are the Three powers we are given at birth. I am going to use the Wright Brothers as an example.

These men are special to me as they're an expression of our human drive. They wanted to fly. They had a dream! They had a desire, and made it happen.
I am here to share these Three things with you. I understand how common inventors are often criticized. The interesting part is? It's difficult to get results and it is easy to criticize. Let's go over how these Three things drove the Wright Brothers.
Imagination - Mankind has had dreams of flight for years. Even the famous inventor DaVinci, invented a helicopter before the word was invented! When does the possible become probable? The answer? When new knowledge is introduced! They had to see success in their mind first! When the boys watched the birds go by it generated a healthy curiosity. In 1984 the Russians learned that Olympic athletes who mentally visualized their sport experienced a positive impact on their performance. It's that simple, and you should give it a try. It can be used for things other than sports.
Willpower - The two boys (preacher’s sons) with barely any education, no formal technical training, no experience working with any pilots other than themselves, no financial backers, no government help, and very little cash of their own. They did have willpower and they didn't whine. We can look at willpower much like a muscle—it can get run down, but just like our physical muscles, there are some who believe we can strengthen our Willpower by training it. We can reprogram our self-talk each day. This helps build our willpower. We often forget that willpower is something that we can fuel.
Intellect - These boys had to learn about wing warping. The boys ran tests and kept track of their successes and failures. They kept their focus on flying! They had to acquire the knowledge when their wasn't any. I applaud them for that!
To some, it was considered impossible. Man could not fathom what made something fly. These ideas have shaken the very paradigm of men and women. Some found the idea even threatening! That is because the fixed mindset often finds the very success of others threatening.
How does a person add to these Three attributes:
Imagination is developed by visualization. Willpower is developed from what you read, see and hear. Our self talk plays a big role here for our consistency. The imagination also helps shape the Willpower. Intellect is finding out what knowledge you need to succeed. Knowledge is a major game changer. New knowledge can always be introduced. A new lead or new job, and sometimes a new friend. There is a lot of free knowledge out there if your looking in the right place. For example, if you want to become a Screenwriter:
Can you see yourself or imagine yourself in that role? Do you have a love for it? Are you addicted to words? Can you see a finished script sitting on your desk? Can you imagine holding an award in your hand? Do you have the willpower to write for many hours? Can you acquire the knowledge about writing scripts and the business knowledge necessary for the industry? These are the some of the basic areas! You can deduce them down yourself.
Another example, Losing Weight:
Imagination - Can you see yourself thin in your mind and make that a goal for yourself? Willpower - Can you be consistent every day in regards to diet and exercise? Can you pin that bikini on the wall and glance at it knowing your are going to get into it? Will breaks down can you make it stronger? Intellect - Can you learn about all things that your body needs? Food, exercise, caloric intake and so on.
The Willpower, Imagination and Intellect are the driving force! Mindset is the G.P.S. Old limiting beliefs can hold you back and often need to be rewired! Citing my article from Linkedin

Powerful, these three words. They can be applied to most any areas of life. Thank you.

you consistently post quality content that is consistently undervalued because peeps don't know you. Maybe it's the tags - maybe you need to get to know some key players. merej99 and opheliau liked your pies - others will too. I followed and am re-steeming you and recommending you to a few friends. We need quality content on steeemit. Keep up the good work!

Thank you John.

I would sum it up to one thing. Obsession. If you have an obsessive-compulsive personality and you focus your energy on one thing, you are bound to be awesome at it.

Practice and repetition can defy any form of intelligence or gift.

You can have an unhealthy obsession just as easily. We have to carefully define things in a healthy manner. OCD is a not a badge of honor. It is defined as a disorder. It can have positive and, healthy usable traits if kept under control.

I don't agree with the term "disorder". What is disorder for one is a gift for another. Psychology is not science, rather social engineering. I wrote extensively about this.

Obsession can be "unhealthy" based on intention...

Psychology is a study. I see it another way..

Greetings, @screenwriterml !

As an inventor myself, I found this article featuring Wilbur and Orville inspiring. Thanks for taking the time to write it and present it here! :)
