Globalization won't stop but the power needs to be distributed and I think Blockchain technology is the way to even the playing field. I am hoping for a brighter 2017. Protectionism never works either does xenophobia but prudence plays a role as well. Crime here in Panama is up and it is not the Panamanians committing the crimes. Time and time again it is outsiders who move here that are committing the crimes. It is really sad to see. People want to move to a better country than theirs and then try to destroy it recreating the land they came from. Pure idiocy.
Correct. Protectionism comes as a result of fiscal and monetary policies, both instruments of a centralized authority. 2017 will set some lights on this and once again, the majority will understand that blockchain is the answer to their questions ;) Am I pessimistic? Nope. But we will see some interesting events this year for sure.
Edit: tbh, I am following some global events because I would like to move somewhere else. But wherever I turn... ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Is it super sunny in Panama?
