Why i think the Video Google / Facebook is spying on us is bullsh*t

Hey steemit community,
here is why I think this video:

[1:50]-[2:06], and here it starts. Why should I care about Google, Facebook, Amazon, ... doing a pretty good job at target advertise me? It's not like an employee sits there for hours spying on me. Its just an algorithm trying to make my own life easier by not showing ads that I would never ever care about

[2:07]-[2:33], first off there is like one ad for snow tires and why shouldn't Facebook simply analyze a photo you uploaded where your car is seen and thought "hey it's getting cold why not show him some ads for tires". I mean you don't have to be a genius to advertise like that.

[2:45]-[3:09], because you simply had GPS on and Google was kind enough to read that data and use is to simplify your life.

Like how should even Google have enough Servers to analyze EVERY second of EVERYONE's life for things like workout, home etc that's not even possible and for sure not necessary if you can simply use the GPS of the phone?

Everyone is like oh my god they're spying on me and think everything they see is "evidence". It is not Google, Facebook, Amazon, ... have so many better ways of "spying" on you why would they use the hardest way and for you the scariest one?

[4:15]-[4:40], actually who cares about patents? Like Google says they're not doing something and when you don't trust them don't use them (https://support.google.com/googlehome/answer/7072285?hl=en) just one example probably more out there on Amazon, Facebook, ... The Google Home only listens for a few seconds and if it does not hear the hot word (Ok Google) it deletes the recording and does not send it to Google. Second Google does not share its data they process it themselves to improve their own Google Adsense so why would they even consider selling your data that makes them so rich to others? So they lose their valuable data that no one else has?

And again why should they spy on you like that when you give them all the data they need?
You send Whatsapp messages? - Facebook can analyze them.
Do you make Photos? - Google Photos will take care of that.
Have you a Facebook Profile? Then you're sharing your whole life anyway.
Do you buy products from Amazon? - Prepare yourself to get ads close to what you have on your wishlist.
The list goes on and on and you agreed to all of them.
Why? Because its convenient and no one will ever be "stalked" or "spied" on by anyone because it's just an algorithm.
