#OpHumanAngels Jan 2nd 2018!
Today our kids went back to Pre-school after a very long 2 week break. @chackett has today off and we needed to make a run to the dump. We figured while we were out we could leave some little messages of happiness somewhere. I wrote these up before we left the house. We still weren't sure what our target was gonna be yet. We chatted in the truck on the way to the dump and remembered that the elementary school by our house isn't in session until tomorrow. All the cars in the lot today are going to be teachers. Excellent! Here's our target:
Fun fact, I actually attended this school from kindergarten through 2nd grade and then again for 7th and 8th. (No middle school in this little town.) It's very possible that one of the recipients of these messages is a former teacher of mine. It's a nice thought. As much as I know that parents are happy to have their kids back in school, I also know that teachers work damn hard for not enough pay. It must be hard to come back to teach after a long break like that. Let's brighten someone's day, shall we?
I hope our messages make people smile today. Doing this kind of makes me feel like a superhero ninja. HIYA!
