My Thoughts on Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly at the Staatsoper im Schillertheater

This was an opera I have been longing to review for quite some time, as it bears a special place in my heart. I also want to dedicate this review to my late maternal grandmother, Doctor Lydia Aznar Alfonso, who sparked my initial interests for this opera, hence the fact that I am a major fan of Madama Butterfly. On a more irreverent note, I was also very fascinated by geishas from the clothes to the intricate background they have to just how interesting they really are.
