Nice vibe, I dig it. For some reason it reminds me of Scars on Broadway or something even though it doesn't really sound like them much at all.

Yep. I think I read once that Daron Malakian considers them two different projects. I only found about the demo and Zach's involvement a few years ago, after getting into Death Grips and Face Tat. Another little bit of useless information about that demo is that it includes an early version of BYOB before it became a System of a Down song.
I'm pretty sure Zach Hill is the Kevin Bacon of music, he can be linked to pretty much anyone and everyone.
