It's one thing to learn, play, and sing a cover song - but to create an original song is truly quite a different animal to tame. So for that - Congratulations! I hear lots of potential in this creation... An acoustic guitar perhaps - with a bit of vocal volume balancing would take this to the next level. Keep writing - sounds good!

Indeed. There's a big difference between a songwriter and a musician. I was thinking about doing a post about that.
