openmic week 77 original song "Ain't Dead Yet'

I had planned to do another song to lead us toward Easter, but the recent marches led by the youth against assault weapons, made me think of this song which remembers some of the marches and political fights in which I was envolved. My 60s self became awakened two years ago when Bernie Sanders began his run for president. . It reminded me of my 60s self and how many of us tried to stop the war in Viet Nam and were involved in the fight against segregated society. A while back, I kept getting responses from A and R people that my music was dated and more of a vintage nature. This tongue in cheek song was my response. I am grateful to Steemit for the opportunity to perform so often, proving I ain't dead yet, and conversely am remaining vital in this world.
