Openmic week 76
Did you ever see a sign painted on a rock, somewhere out in the country? I have seen many, some make you think---others are funny---some don't seem to make sense, but with a little good fortune, you might get a song idea. That is where this idea came from. The chorus used to go like this, “If you’re listening and you are the bar room kind…” I decided to not take a shot at my audience and expand it to those who might have a "troubled mind". Whatever, I refer you to my Friend.
Once when our son was young we went to a Karate camp. I was hanging around our campsite when a young boy whose parents searching for him stopped by my area. His parents found him about the same time. He was explaining to his dad, "I was over there standing on that rock...I call that rock Jesus!" It stuck with me...the faith of a child...
Mt Mitchell is a nice place to clear ones mind and connect with our Friend Jesus...and it is a place where wildlife are protected, a wildlife refuge.
God bless brother, since I was a child I liked the camps we used to make of the church where we all shared pleasant and fun moments between brothers where we enjoyed very beautiful places in my country Venezuela, nowadays as an adult I see that class differently of activities and I value them much more because they separate us from the troubled world and with a little more calm we can get closer to God
excellent my great friend and fellow servant. God bless you
Bohden was all smiles:) "a friend of mine will ease your mind, you'll be just fine."....so sweet today Pappa
I love this song and our Mt. Mitchell pics! 😍
I would like a wildlife refuge for people. Wait, is that what reservations are? Never mind. I really liked your song.
