I had myself a vision, it was something like a dream.

This song idea originated with a story in the book of Daniel in the OT. The king had a dream he did not understand and Daniel explained to him that it meant he had been weighed and found wanting. In other words...he was done for. All of the many verses to this song address issues of our time that could lead to our being done for.
