Hello Steemit !
This week I'm playing a song that has slowly become one of my favorites: ''Mandolin'' . The original version was meant to be played on that instrument but there are several cover adaptations to guitar anyways . Such a simple yet powerful composition. This is just my little version and humble rendition of this amazing song.
Gustavo Pena , known as ''el principe'', was an Uruguayan musician , multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer , he never became famous and was very poor throughout his whole life , just dedicating his time to compose and perform on streets or small venues . He just recorded 1 album but after he passed away his daughter released a massive collection of songs , a lot of his music have become ''classics'' in Uruguay's catalog of popular music.

Muchas gracias kat ! si , El principe fue un gran artista .. tiene muchos lindos temas , aunque muy pocos realmente grabados profesionalmente , mucho se quedo en grabaciones caseras , escucha un tema que se llama "Pensamiento de Caracol" , uno de mis preferidos de el ! gran abrazo!
En serio? Que loco... voy a buscarlo en cuanto salga del trabajo...increíble que un artista de ese calibre nunca haya salido a la luz... pero bueno, igual queda su legado de algún modo, ya que tu lo conoces , supongo que muchos otros también lo conocen.
