Hi all. I can't get into a habit of calling you guys "Steemians"... To me that sounds like a bunch of aliens camped out in a hot tub or something. So hello, friends. Future homies. Sorry this video is a little bit pixely. My webcam is being a jerk.

This is a song I wrote called, "Staircase." I'm sitting on an exercise ball in case you wonder why I'm so bouncy. I replaced my chair with it. Healthier sitting is a thing. I don't want to go on and on about how this song is special to me and it means a lot. I don't really have a lot to say about it. It was featured in a movie. I guess that's a little tidbit of info. ("Revelation Road") This song has D-minor in it, which really screws me up sometimes. I screwed up a few times here but I'm tired of recording it. I had a good video of it but I forgot to say @paintingangels in the beginning and I would prefer to follow the rules. So, yeah. The screw up parts are here to stay. I thank you for listening anyway. Many years ago, right after I wrote it I made a little video for this song. It's kind of silly (I thought it was pretty artsy at the time) but I thought I might share it, too. Not as anything to do with the contest, but just in case you'd rather hear a better version of it than me sitting on a bouncy ball singing into a cheap webcam.
