Its probably safe to assume some people might miss a week, missing a week does not disqualify you in any way, but it does lower your chances of winning.
For example, lets say a participant gets on the top five... 6 times out of the 8 weeks and misses week 7... it might be safe to assume that participant is still in the running.

So every week there will be a top 5?
Yes.. every judge will have a top 5 list... so potentially there would be 20 participants on the top lists... but of course there might be overlaps... :)
