Thanks, Matt. That's very true about Les Mis. I've never read the book, only seen the musical, so I know there's probably a lot about the story that I'm missing out on. But the kindness Jean Valjean shows the people he encounters in his life does reflect in a small way the great kindness Jesus has done for us. :)
