It's been about 15 years now, I started out on the snare drum in elementary school and got my first drum kit soon after.
Man it's crazy, I remember when I was just starting out listening to some awesome drummer and asking him how long he'd been playing - "15 years," he said, and I was like WOW!
...Now I'm that guy! Except with a lot more practicing I still need to do haha
