Hello Steemians!
I'm here once more for my participation on this week's Open mic.

This song is about those moments when you are in a relationship and feel stuck, it starts out great, but then expectations are not met and it ends up being a daily battle of demands and reproach, when it is expected of you to be someone you're not, many people said it better than me, but it reminds me of a sentence in a John Mayer song; Who do you love? me or the thought of me?
This was written for the songwriters challenge week 8, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it. Thank you very much for taking the time to listen, this was the most difficult one I've done for this contest, but I still enjoyed it!!!
I'm a little sad the songwriters challenge comes to an end this week, but it has given me such a push that I intend to keep writing and producing music for a long time :)

I had to do the vocal loops like that because I wanted to loop stuff while I was singing, so I could only loop the guitar, I'm lucky my guitar's mic is not a transducer but an actual mic :)
Fantastic song, vocals and use of the looper. There's a lot going on and it's impressive that you can get everything times correctly.

Thank you very much!! There's a lot going on indeed, however I originally wanted to add a lot more stuff to it, I just couldn't find the way to add everything in a way that made sense and was musical in less that a week, so I had to cut some stuff hehe, the timing was a bitch to get right, I spend at least 9 hours without rest practicing the song after all the writing was done hehe.
I read your comment on YouTube! Thanks for that! That was my first one on any open mic entry I've done :)
What looper do you have? I'm planning on doing some loop related videos and posts so I can help people who are interested in looping started :)
