Greetings to my Steemian friends!
I'm away on a end of summer vacation with the family but brought me guitar. So I put this song together out of some lyrics I wrote in March. I wrote it because I was away from my family in March and was getting home sick, but I added in some more deep feelings into the lyrics to make it more than being a little homesick.

Thank you Troy! I used to think it odd how older people would say they're ready to go home, meaning their original home in the afterlife. I completely understand them even at now even at 46. I've lost a lot of people. Mom and dad are gone, my wife, and a lot of friends especially the musician ones from my youth dead from suicides, overdoses, etc. Yes home is not always in this material world.
