Hello, hello steemians friends, as always it is very nice to be here again with you sharing some music in this great space that gives us every week the openmic, taking the opportunity to congratulate him for his two years, I hope they continue to fulfill many more, success ... For this opportunity I dared to do something different, it is a cover of the song "When love takes over" by the Dj and producer Frances, David Guetta, interpreted with the collaboration of the American singer Kelly Rowland, in this song I premiered in the world of the loop, and try to make this cover using only my mandolin and my hands, in my humble opinion, Another way to make music ..., but well what is this way of creating music? Applied to electronic music we will say that it consists of one or several synchronized musical stanzas (samples) that usually occupy one or several exact musical compasses and are recorded or reproduced linked in sequence again and again to create a sense of continuity. In a simpler way ..., they are not more than short sections of a track normally between one and four measures in length, which are created with similar characteristics at the beginning and end of the track so that it sounds in a "chained" way.

Let's go back a little now and see how this way of making music originated.

With the arrival of the hip hop culture, a new way of making music came along. Not in the conventional way as it was until then: a person with a guitar, or a group of friends like a rock band. The story is the same as always, a group of friends, one is good at rapping and the rest makes music. How to make music without having musical knowledge? Back then, the trick was to "play" records. That is, find a song which had a passage long enough to make a base and repeat it manually, moving the disc on the turntable; something that required a lot of skill and practice so you do not notice the cut or be out of time. This is how the idea of the sample came about, first as a need and then it became a new way of making music. Then, some bands like Public Enemy armed their songs sampling different artists in the same song as in the case of their hit "Fight the power". At present, the turntable was replaced by the computer and special equipment that stores hundreds of samples. This idea was growing in such a way that today it became the current currency of the music industry and especially in the musical genres such as rap, dance and pop.

What software do we need to create a loop?

Well we will find many options in the market, both in open source (open source) and payment software, freeware, and in "try" mode or use limited to a stipulated test time for later purchase. According to its characteristics we will take more or less game, the most commonly used program is the FL-Studio (also known as Fruity loops) and several well-known artists have used it to compose, but among the main programs that appear in the market to work with samplers are Fl-studio, Native instrument Kontakt, Reason, Logic Pro and Ableton. We should also mention the Sony Soundforge which is an audio editing program. In conlusion, the use of the loop to compose music as an alternative is very interesting, as well as the first option if we are involved in very modern musical genres such as rap, pop, or dance. I must say that it requires a lot of talent to master it 100%, and heard but also a lot of creativity to compose the verses and refrains and find elements that work with our song. good friends I hope you liked it, a hug ... regards! as always a special thanks to all the characters that make all this happen ... @pfunk, @ ausbitbank, @curie, @ verbal-d, @ krystle, @aggroed, @luzcypher .... to all of them many thanks. ... !!!
