My grandfather was a WWII vet. Two weeks before he died, I recorded him telling his war stories one last time. The recording of the song was inspired by Wounded Warrior Project, an organization I support.

I worked as combat crew in the Titan IIC ICBM missile silos. If we had gone to war while I was at work, I would have been in a 9 level underground nuclear missile silo helping to launch the largest Nuke we had at the time, 9.4 megatons, range in excess of 4500 mi.
