Steemit Open Mic Week 71 Blink 182 - First Date (Guitar Cover)

Hello steemians!

For this week's open mic I share a cover of one of the most emblematic old school bands of the Alternative Rock/Punk Rock genre called Blink 182, the song I will perform is "First Date" that belongs to the album "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" published in the year 2001.

The song was written by Tom DeLonge (guitar and voice), on the same night that Mark Hoppus (bass and vocals) wrote The Rock Show. Both "First Date" and "The Rock Show" were written in response to the producers as they said that Take Off Your Pants and Jacket lacked catchy singles.
