Steemit Open Mic Week 102 / Venezuela (Cover)

in openmic •  6 months ago

Hello friends of Open Mic! With this publication I make my entry for week 102 of the contest. I decided to dedicate my participation to a very important song for my country, since it is considered as the third national anthem.

It is about "Venezuela", a great classic that evokes the greatest feelings of love, hope and patriotism among Venezuelans. Among one of the greatest curiosities of this song, lies the fact that most people do not know that it is really a song written by Spaniards.

The authorship of this jewel of folklore belongs to Pablo Herrero Ibarz and José Armenteros, who in their time were members of the group "Los Relámpagos". The song was composed to be sung originally by José Luis Rodríguez in 1980, however it was not given in this way and ended up being popularized by the Venezuelan interpreter Balbino.

Before saying goodbye I want to send a very special greeting to the user @luzcypher, which makes this contest possible every week with the help of his support team led by @pfunk. I also thank the platform @dtube for the support they have given me with my last participation in the Open Mic and the community of @onelovedtube for their valuable acceptance of my publications, which I do with all the love and dedication to be at the height of the steemit standards.

Good luck for all the tickets of the week and I hope to continue reading them in the next Open Mic!
