Thanks Brotha for the shout out! I love these post from the judges!
a) bc all of you seem to select wildly different songs to highlight (how do you guys even come up with a consensus lol)
b) it gives me (and I assume everyone else) the opportunity to check out some of the entries I probably wouldn't have seen. Being totally real, there's zero chance of me going through all 100 entries. So i appreciate the opp to tag along and reap the benefits of all your hard work ;)
C) I get, if even a tad, more insight into who you guys actually might be. (i've know u and jess for example since pretty much my beginning here) It's soo freakin hard to determine what someone is actually like/who they really are, however, music doesn't lie and when you hear someone talk about music that too provides a bit of a window into the type of person they might be and the values they probably have.

You're most welcome bro, us judges truly have different lists with one or two similarities, and when we list Honorable Mentions those also help to align our choices for the top 3 winners believe it or not lol
And yeah anything over 50 entries is really overwhelming, but I push through till the end because I know the courage it takes for some people to even submit an entry for those who are camera shy, and others who put forth music with a purpose such as myself, especially when it is original material.
And that is a big question bro. I would love to, but it is all up to timing. I wanted to go last year, and this year, it just never seems to favor my scheduling. Are you making it to steemfest?
I hear that, I'd be lying if I said that It didn't start out that exact same way on openmic for a lot of us... Personally, never put up anything before that (despite being a full time musician for 15years lol)
And Yea, I'm going to get there one way or another. Going to try and make a fundraising post to help out with the expense. I'm taking off a week a work already to get there.. And man I know that this is the year that I need to be there if I'm going to take my steem dream to the next level.

Appreciate the kind words bro, but don't worry, I am sure somehow someway we will be able to make some jams, and even now we could be working on collaborations. I have done plenty of collaborations internationally, so if you want to start mapping something out, let me know! and i wish you the best of success with your fundraising bro, you will definitely make it, try and post every day too, that helps a lot, every bit counts for sure!
Ya I haven't done any over the internet style collabs yet. Mostly, bc nothing beats real life jamming. I'll definitely think about something that might work between us tho.

Yeah just let me know, I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I am open to hearing ideas bro, i have been knocking out collaborations one by one, about to go in the booth and lay down a blueprint for a collaboration with @alao right now so I can get that progressing forward
And definitely, best of success with that fundraising bro, Steemit helped me reach my goal as well for a previous target I was aiming for. The community here is so supportive.
Ya we would have to aim for maybe December, I'm usually super swamped sept-nov because I'll my dayjob stuff starts back up etc. I'm pretty much playing every day for 3 months straight at work lol.
