This old folk song originates from Međimurje, Croatia originally performed by Bijelo Dugme (Goran Bregović like you said above) lyrics are very old, and were preserved by Vinko Žganec

In case you haven't heard the original performance "Ružica Si Bila" from Bijelo Dugme see below, check Bijelo Dugme out, they are rock pioneers from Yugoslavia that resonate to this day in the region

Nice @chaifm "Pustvopol" is an amazing album, gone through half of it by now still listening...
First song reminded me on Bulgarian Voices, rest of it is full on diversity, great music indeed
